American Girl's New Items!

Okay, this may be quite a bit old of news, but American Girl has recently added NEW Bitty Twins dolls!! Bitty Twins are dolls appropriate for preschool-aged girls that are similar to Bitty Baby, but appear older to help symbolize young childhood. Though the brunette and blonde dolls have been around for a while, American Girl has released dolls of Asian, Hispanic, and African-American ethnicity. Plus, the Bitty Twins arrive in new outfits, and they're so cute! Here are the samples of them (click on the links to view):

Trip to Chicago American Place

Hi everyone! I went for a visit to the American Girl Place in Chicago two weeks ago and this is what I found: a bunch of little girls with there dolls held securely in the hands with moms on tow. They were EVERYWHERE! In front of the salon, there was a billion little girls with dolls with messy disastrous hair in wild clumps. I was a bit overwhelmed at first, but after a while I was OK. Mom and I tried to get into the Cafe' but it was booked! Luckily we were able to get in the next morning for brunch. It was so fun. You bring your doll and they set her at the end of the table in a special tiny chair made for being clipped to the side. First they serve you tiny Cinnamon buns that taste terrific. Next you order your main dish. I chose the french toast with apples on the side. After that you are stuffed and can't even think about eating another bite, and then the waiter comes and brings you desert. Felicity's Sugar Cookie and Molly's Victory Garden. Well, I guess the french toast got to me, and I went off to the bathroom. And ya know what was waiting for me in the stall? A doll holder! What will they think of next? All in all, I had a fabulous visit and request it to anyone with little girls (or older girls :P) and am looking forward to my next visit.
